Maples Kennels was born as an idea for a small business to create flat-pack kennels for purchase in NZ. Dog kennels in the existing market typically all look very similar and sell for a high price. I wanted to design a flat-pack kennel that has a contemporary feel to it.
The product was designed to be low cost and easy to manufacture package and ship. Much like an Ikea product the kennel would require some assembly from the customer. Though this project wads never fully conceived the process is shown below.
