Every aspect of the Recon project was meticulously considered, from initial sketches to refined CAD models. The design process focused on reducing visual complexity while integrating advanced features. Our team iteratively developed concepts, ensuring each detail from mechanical interfaces to aesthetic transitions reflected the premium quality expected from Lowrance. Collaborative efforts with engineering teams ensured functional viability without compromising the sleek, purposeful design language.
Recon’s defining features were born from deep exploration into user needs and mechanical challenges. The Free Steer Remote offers natural, joystick-based control, allowing users to stay focused on their catch. The motor’s streamlined construction incorporates refined grip details, improved cable management, and robust materials that stand up to the marine environment. This seamless integration of form and function enables effortless operation, whether deploying, stowing, or controlling from afar.
