Originally designed for Ironclad’s Takumi Wok, the bamboo lid began as an exploration into how a single piece could embody the balance of function, material, and culture. The goal was to create a lid that felt at home with the wok while carrying a story of restraint and purpose.

Function & Craft
Beyond its elegance, the lid doubles as a trivet, making it both practical and space-conscious. Every decision—from material choice to form—was made to maintain honesty in construction and ease of manufacture. The design reflects Ironclad’s commitment to creating enduring, multifunctional tools that celebrate daily use.

Extension of the Collection
Following its success with the Takumi Wok, the lid evolved into the Legacy Serving Lid Trio, extending the design language across Ironclad’s cookware range. The project also included packaging design for the Takumi Wok, aligning the product experience with Ironclad’s broader story of craftsmanship and cultural appreciation.
